Sustainability Policy

Midori has a business model with low-scale production and adapted to the specific needs of clients, this means that despite working with sizes, each garment is customizable to the measurements of each client, which avoids waste of resources. .

The value of each garment reflects the brand's work ethic, and allows the solvency of the business for both the seamstress, model maker, assistants and suppliers as well as the creative director. Midori takes responsibility for textile waste by reducing it through sustainable measures such as donating to visual artists who work with textile recycling or to businesses that make raw materials from textile recycling.

Midori works with organic textiles with low or no percentages of plastic in their composition. In this way we contribute to a sustainable deterioration of our garments over time.

Our work team is made up only of women, we believe in a work environment that promotes female inclusion, empowering women through their creative and artisan work with fair and ethical payment, making their participation in our work chain visible.

As a brand we want to promote the work of the old national textile factories, many of which have been closed or forgotten with the arrival of fast fashion. 100% of our fabrics come from these factories, they are fabrics manufactured in Chile. In this way, our goal is to be part of a new national textile circuit, promoting creativity and design in our country.
